Despite being among the most obvious truths, the passage of time and days and nights as well as the Constant shortening of lives and opportunities has been subject to utmost neglect, and that has brought to man great loss as well as Wastage of life as an asset. "Seizing opportunities” has always been an important advice given by the wise to those who walk the path of perfection and self-training; it is mentioned in many Works of literature and religion. Every successful person owes his advancement and success to the appreciation and seizing of life's great opportunities and the Swiftly-passing moments of his life, holding that taking advantage of "life as an asset" can only be achieved by bearing in mind that life passes by quickly and lost opportunities do not return. To the careful and vigilant, hours, days, Weeks, months, and years are remarkably valuable; therefore, they dedicate a special position and value to "opportunities” in their timetable in order to turn this asset into profit and not be among those who suffer loss. To further clarify the value of life and opportunity and help us not lose this precious asset, the present Work has been prepared by consideration of the theoretical and practical programs in Qur'anic verses and hadiths as well as a glance at the lives of certain prominent figures - particularly the valuable life of Imam Khumayni - and is thus presented to the future generation of the society with the hope that it shall be made use of.
